Pastor Dennis & Venessa Cowing

Pastor Dennis and Venessa started attending GHCC in 1998. In that same year they received the call to ministry and in July of that year moved to Broken Arrow OK to attend Rhema Bible Training College. Returning to GHCC in 2002 they volunteered in different ministries within the church. Dennis served as an usher and Venessa worked in the book store.
After completing a two year internship Dennis joined the staff of GHCC as Assistant Pastor in 2004. Over the next twelve years Dennis and Venessa served as leaders of the Intercessory Prayer Team, Home Group Leaders, Ushers/Greeters, Book Store, Children’s and Youth ministries, pre-marriage counseling, Nursing Home ministry, building maintenance and security.
In 2016 Pastor Dennis became involved in the Pastoral Care ministry. Also known as “We Care” This ministry at GHCC was described by Jesus when He quoted from Isaiah 61:1-2;
“. . .He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. . .to comfort all who mourn.”
The Pastoral Care ministry includes a prayer team to address the congregation’s prayer requests, a family support team that can provide meals and groceries when a family experiences an emergency situation, hospital and home visitation for the sick and a nursing home ministry.
“A supportive ministry to the people of Goffstown Harvest Christian Church who are experiencing the common trials and struggles that characterize life in this world, providing spiritual support to individuals, couples and families assisting them in working through pressing problems in their relationships to themselves, others and to God.”
Christian & Lacey Johnsick
Associate Minister/ Youth & Young Adults Directors

Christian Johnsick has been a part of GHCC since the beginning, his parents are Pastor Joe & Robyn Johnsick. Growing up as part of GHCC, Christian has learned all aspects of the ministry. As a teenager he was part of our student ministry and developed a deep appreciation for how important it is for students to be connected to church. He is also passionate about the power of the Holy Spirit transforming people's lives from the inside out.
Christian is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College as well as being a licensed minister. Lacey has completed a ministry intensive internship program through Celebration Church in Austin, TX. Being young adults themselves, Christian and Lacey want to ensure that young men and women in this age range continue to receive encouragement, inspiration and community from their peers. They want all students and young adults to walk in the confidence they have by remaining in the Holy Spirit and knowing that they are empowered by Him to lead people to Jesus no matter where they are in their life.
